arduino problem with libraries softwareserial and wire together

If I removed the SIM80L and just initialize the SoftwareSerial.If I only use Serial and SoftwareSerial with SIM800L, it works (it's tricky but seems to work, at least I have feed back over serial in the console).

If I do not use debug over Serial, the software works, but debug is impossible (blind coding.).Sometime LCD over I2C display whatever, just like an old TV of the 70' and no feedback over Serial in the console. When SoftwareSerial is initialized, boards are at least frozen. SIM800L is used as long distance remote control.Īs long as I don't initialize the GSM board with SoftwareSerial, remaining logic works fine. SoftwareSerial for communication with the GSM module with pin D7 and D6.

Let's says it' a kind of 'enhanced' phone. pcf8574 + 2 tiny 128圆4 display on the I2C bus.Maybe a timing issue with sending signals out at clock ticks or something? I can't image that Wire is trying to use digital pins 2 or 3 for anything. So it seems like there's some kind of conflict between the Wire library and SoftwareSerial. If I don't setup the serial connection to the LCD then I can read from the barometer just fine. If I comment out Wire.begin() then everything carries on as normal. then nothing more, just stay on 4 forever. As soon as that code hits the LCD stops responding with any new text. Everything is fine and dandy until I run into a call to Wire.begin(). I've also got a barometer that I'm talking to over I2C with the Wire library. I'm talking to a serial-enabled LCD via SoftwareSerial.

I've got a few different Arduino boards here but so far I've only tried this code on the Leonardo.
